I, Robot Movie Summary and Review

The main characters in the movie I, Robot are detective Spooner and doctor Calvin. There also was a robot named sunny. The place where it took was Chicago in the year of 2035. It was made in year of 2005. The idea of the movie is that in the robots are going to be normal and that they will rule the world some time in the future. But Spooner doesn't want that to happen because the robots will not fallow the 3 laws and they will kill people like Dr. Alfred Lannging  and other humans like Lawrence Robertson. Vicky made all the robots kill all the humans and to talk of the world nut Spooner did not let the happen because he destroyed the robots that were killing other humans and he destroyed Vick.

• Why does Vicky want the robots to kill humans?

So that they can rule the world.

• Why does sunny kill Dr. Alfred Lanning?

Because Dr Alred lannging told him to kill him because that was his job he said.

• Why do the robots want to kill Spooner?

So that he doesn't destroy the robots.

• How do the robots know that they have to kill Spooner? 

Vicky told them to go kill him.

• Why did the robots attack Spooner?

So that he can die.

Smallest car in the world? the smallest car in the world is the Roadworthy. the person that owns it is Perry Watkins. It took him 7 months to make the car. The cars height is 104.14cm (41in) long and 66.4cm (26in) wide. The record was held in May 9 , 2009. 




The tallest dog in the world? the tallest dog living Giant George. He is 1.092m (45) tall. The record was held in February 5, 2010. The owner is  David Nasser and lives in Tucson, Arizona, USA.

Web 2.0 refers to the second generation of the world wide web.2.0 come from the software industry where new type of software program are labelled. Wed 2.0 does not refer to a specific version of web. Some examples are blogs, wikis and social networking. 

Ted Video Robots

The video is about robots. It's about  how we will be using them in the future. It shows different robots and it shows how they work.

The two things that i found interesting is how the robot was cleaning up and almost went off the stage. The second thing is when he showed the different kinds of robots that were changing there expression.

I liked this video because it showed how the robots work and what they do.

*Industrial robots  Usually these are articulated arms specifically developed for such applications as welding, material handling, painting and others. If they were judge purely by application this type could also include some automated guided vehicles and other robots.



*Domestic or household robots You can use robots at home. This type of robots includes many quite different devices such as robotic vacuum cleaners, robotic pool cleaners, sweepers, gutter cleaners and other robots that can do different chores. Also, some surveillance and telepresence robots could be regarded as household robots if used in that environment.

*Medical robots There are robots that are used in medicine and medical institutions. First and foremost - surgery robots. Also, some automated guided vehicles and maybe lifting aides.

*Service robots Robots don’t fall into other types by usage. These could be different data gathering robots, robots made to show off technologies, robots used for research, etc.

*Military robots - Robots used in military. This type of robots includes bomb disposal robots, different transportation robots, reconnaissance drones. Often robots initially created for military purposes can be used in law enforcement, search and rescue and other related fields.

*Entertainment robots - These are robots used for entertainment. This is a very broad category. It starts with toy robots such as robosapien or the running alarm clock and ends with real heavyweights such as articulated robot arms used as motion simulators.

*Space robots - I’d like to single out robots used in space as a separate type. This type would include robots used on the International Space Station, Canadarm that was used in Shuttles, as well as Mars rovers and other robots used in space.

*Hobby and competition robots - Robots that we create. Line followers, sumo-bots, robots were made just for fun and robots made for competition.

Now, as we can see there are examples that fit into more than one of these types. For example, there can be a deep sea exploration robot that can gather some valuable information that can be used for military purposes.
